CHEEA has its direction mapped out in its VISION. As the Chairperson of CHEEA, who is involved at a grassroots level with all the projects, I wish to convey a touching experience that sits poignantly on my mind. Some of our work is as a result of certain situations, which go beyond our project objectives. Let me take you into a deeper understanding. I walk into Mgada Primary School in the Rural Area of the eThekwini Municipality and the winter chills, run down my spine. I am warmly clad; yet the Learners that meet me are scantily clad, some without a jersey and others without shoes. They greet me with bright, cheerful eyes, almost unaware of the WINTER chills. Their eyes shine a warmth, which beckons my nurturing hand. This has led CHEEA to contribute to the feeding scheme and engaging Businesses to donate much needed blankets. The touching circumstances that often meets my eye, warrants my nurturing hands to assist. I appeal to you to please be OPEN-HANDED so that CHEEA can leave a legacy with its upliftment of children’s lives – OUR FUTURE. - Start Making a Difference: Each individual can take action to help with CHEEA’s upliftment programmes.
